Taking regular time to fast and pray helps our whole person to grow spiritually. 1- it weans us off cycles of pleasure, 2- it helps reveal what is truly in our heart, 3- it helps reorder our priorities, 4- it enables us to draw our power from God to overcome sin. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
