Being an expat during the pandemic has brought its fair share of problems. A lot of us feel forgotten. Some of us are suffering from survivors guilt. Those of us that returned home and are still expats at heart are struggling with the decision to return to our life abroad, or ride the pandemic out with our families.

It’s the holidays. A time of year that’s gets harder year end and year out as expats get older and remain far away from family. The difference between now — pandemic holiday — and before is simple. The choice.
