Nat Love and the African American Experience in the West

Born on a slave plantation outside of Nashville, Tennessee, Nat Love didn’t assume the stereotypical image of a future Western legend. At the young age of fifteen, Love gathered his grit and resolve and headed West, where he would later make his mark upon American history.
