Market Close 14 Jul 21: ASX overcomes tech & travel losses to rise

Local shares managed to lift even as Sydney’s lockdown was extended but at least two weeks. Most sectors improved with gold miners and utilities among some of the stronger performers. Travel and BNPL stocks fell most.
