EP. 23 Emasculate...Is That Possible?

The angry black woman stereotype shapes how others read and interpret the actions of Black women including how we treat our men.  The angry black woman is portrayed as a woman who is stubborn and unreasonably quick to anger who enjoys emasculating the men close to them. Now, to emasculate means “to make a man feel less male by taking away his power and confidence”. Is it really possible for another person to determine how someone else feels about themselves? This is a stereotype as pernicious as it is tired. Listen in to learn why.
