Market Close 21 Mar 22: ASX 200 ends 3-day winning streak

The Australian sharemarket fell away from this morning's better start, with the ASX 200 slipping by 0.22%. This coincided with signs the US market might get off to a soft start and major banks giving back early gains. The ASX 200's fall has put an end to a three-day winning streak for the index.
