Author Paul Murray's work is critically acclaimed and his accolades include his novel Skippy Dies being longlisted for a Booker prize as well as placing third in Time magazine's top 10 works of fiction for 2010. This week Paul joined Jarlath to discuss his career and to give his thoughts on the importance of questioning authority, what shaped his writing style, how technology is stifling modern communication, writing funny versus writing tragic and the notion of compromising his art in order to support his family and much, much more.

Paul also discusses his experiences abroad which include living on ketchup sandwiches in Barcelona, completing his Master's in Norwich and making bread in a factory in Germany.
