US Close 4 Mar 16: Solid late run in the States, DOW up 45pts.

US sharemarkets recorded late gains on Thursday, as a rally in energy stocks offset weakness in health and tech stocks. Seven of the major 10 S&P sectors were higher, with the energy sector up 1.3%.
