Woolworths Ltd (WOW) Half Year Result 23 Feb 18: profits lift on strong result from Aussie Food business

WOW posted a softer than expected lift in revenue and underlying earnings over the first half of the year. For the six months ended December 2017, Net Profit from Continuing Operations rose by 14.7% to $902m (approximately $40m below market consensus).
