159: The Victory Hymn in Revelation 12

The fifth worship hymn within the Book of Revelation celebrates the inauguration of God's kingdom and the authority of Jesus. Furthermore, the hymn praises the behavior of the faithful people of God in three specific ways. Since the people of God are thoroughly described in this hymn, it raises the question regarding the intended application of worship. Lastly, we examine the nature of monotheism and how the highly exalted Jesus operates in conjunction with the only true God.
