Rabbi Michael Feshbach of the Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas returns to Analyze This in response to last week’s “USVI Stands with Palestine” walk of solidarity. Speaking personally, as a liberal-leaning, progressive Zionist, and not on behalf of his community, Rabbi Feshbach discusses some of the history of this intense and tragic conflict, considering the many narratives and potential for a two-state solution. He identifies problematic elements from last week’s rally on St. Croix and the coverage of this event with a call for “pride without prejudice” and greater sensitivity.
