Moses has returned to Egypt but not willingly. He has brought up every argument he could to God in order to evade the call, but he is here. He is very aware that God has sent him and sent him with great power. So he goes in before pharaoh and says exactly what God has told him to say and pharaoh mocks him, slams the door in his face and even increases the burdens on the Israelite slaves. Now Moses' own people have turned on him too. The first thing you'll ever walk into when you begin to exercise faith is discouragement. What Moses is guilty of here the Israelites are going to be guilty of in a few months time in the wilderness. Moses has to deal with it in himself first, then he's going to be able to deal with it in Israel.
