Deacons are a role that is sometimes needed in a Church. The role is determined on the basis of needs and growth in the Church.

The primary function of the Deacon is to assist the Elders. Typically this will be with administrative and operation concerns, but not always. The aim of this role is to share the work of the church so that no one person is overly burdened.
