As we continue the study of Luke's account of the Early Church, we find Peter & John speaking to a crowd after a man that was lame since birth was suddenly healed. The crowd was amazed, and many became Christians. Peter made it clear that it was Jesus who did the healing. The religious authorities had them arrested, but they still shared about Jesus. After being freed, they met with other believers, prayed for more boldness, and received a new filling of the Holy Spirit. May we also experience the power of the Spirit and the power of prayer.
