Interview - Vice-President of the European Parliament Mairead McGuinness Discusses International Importance of Removing Blasphemy Clause from Irish Constitution

 Proposals to remove the blasphemy clause from the Irish constitution have been welcomed by the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Mairead Mc Guinness. 

Speaking to Irish Journalist Eamonn Torsney, the Midlands North-West MEP, says the move would be helpful to Ireland internationally. 

The Fine Gael MEP has responsibility for the European Parliament’s dialogue with religious and non-confessional organisations on EU policies and legislative proposals.
