Henry Bolingbroke ist ein formidabler Ritter und ein reicher Erbe. Er hat keine Probleme damit, einen großen Freundeskreis aufzubauen. Das gilt sowohl für England, als auch für das europäische Festland. Als Henry König von England wird muss er jedoch feststellen, dass so manche dieser Beziehungen auf Sand gebaut sind.
