FREEDOM!

I was envisioning how my African American ancestors must have felt hearing the announcement of Emancipation after praying and longing for it over their many years of enslavement. I created Cloud of Witnesses as a result. As our country celebrates Juneteenth nationally for the first time in a meaningful way, I have commemorated this special time in history with a notecard featuring the Cloud of Witnesses art piece.
