Believe it or not, Joe and Laura have never talked on the phone. So when Joe feels a little under the weather, he takes a new (somewhat taboo) step in their growing friendship and gives Laura a ring. Joe helps Laura interpret a dream about a woman named Maria WITH SHRIMP FOR EYES, while Laura helps Joe interpret his dream about a warm, squishy hug from Oprah. Toilet flushes, awkward pauses, and a bit of static all flow together in a beautiful sonic landscape that is the modern telephone conversation.
