Exhortation - Zechariah 7:5-6

Sometimes we manage to do a right and godly thing, but upon further inspection of our own motivations, discover that they were impure. That’s the situation Zechariah found himself in when someone asked whether they should continue fasting. The Lord questions whether that fasting was ever done for the Lord in the first place.
