Val spent nearly 25 years with NBC News as well as a short stint with ABC’s Creative Department. A recipient of 24 Emmy nominations and winner of seven, Val Nicholas has had an incredibly impressive career. He is currently the SVP/Creative Director with Summit Media Corporation, but he has several other projects in motion.
As Co-Owner of “Eyes on Target Productions,” the company has produced a documentary called 10 Weeks, airing now on Roku. Val is a Founder and Principal in “Second Thought Productions,” and a Strategy Executive with Curtco, a podcast company which is about to launch an immersive, Dolby-surround sci-fi scripted podcast called Solar, with stars like Helen Hunt and Alan Cumming headlining the all-star case. Always eager to serve critical causes, he also sits on the Boards of several non-profit organizations
Val’s interests include music, outdoor athletics and Tae Kwon Do, in which he holds a black belt. Val happily reside in California with his wife, Anne.
