A Christmas Appeal for CFINE has been launched by The Evening Express and Original 106 has been launched. Staff at CFINE are heartened by the generosity of the giving which will enable families to fight off poverty during the Christmas Season. All donations should be handed into Original 106's offices in Marischal Square Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm and Saturday 9 am - 4 pm.

A veteran has called for more people to visit ex military people if they are in hospital or even send cards. Joyce Macmillan who served with Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps called on hospital staff to ask a question to verify if patients are veterans then get in contact with SSAFA to organise visits if they are veterans. She said cards meant a lot to her.
Sheep are on the loose and are hiding in shops and businesses as a Sheep Trail in the Bridge of Don. The scheme is organised by St Columbas Church in Bridge of Don to highlight the Christmas Story and encouraging school children and local residents to visit and support local businesses.
