Unsolved on the Appalachian Trail

In 2011 Scott Lilly would be murdered, in 2019 Chad Austin would be murdered, and in 2009 Heidi Childs and David Metzler would be murdered. All of these murders were in the vicinity of the Appalachian Trail and all of them are unsolved. The real question is are they connected?
