The Truth With Dr. Luz Maria: Sex And Intimacy And The Healing Process

In this week's episode we interview Dr. Luz Maria who is based in San Diego, California. She has a Masters in Psychology and a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. She is a also a sex and intimacy coach and runs a "Discover The Goddess Retreat." 

Sex is complicated for many of us. For something that should be easy and natural, it can fraught with all sorts of issues and expectations. We talked about a lot of issues with Dr. Luz around sex and intimacy and the healing process needed if it has gone adrift in a relationship or you need to reconnect to it. How do you redefine sex and intimacy?

Dr. Luz works with couples and individuals, but we talked a lot about women connecting to their sense of sexual self. Sex should be fun, but if you lose the intimacy, it can hard to find your way back to the original connection.
