Market Close 19 Dec 2019: Aussie shares fall following strong jobs data

The Aussie market has fallen after the unemployment rate surprisingly fell to 5.2% with 39,900 jobs added over November. The ASX 200 slipped 18 points or 0.27% to 6833 as banks, energy and CSL Ltd (CSL) weighed most. Gold stocks were among the most improved on a down day for the market.
