Mary and Martha Stewart - Luke 10:38-42

Martha was not chided by Jesus for doing something evil; in fact she was doing something good!

Martha did, however, have a problem with serving simply for its on sake!

Martha allowed a good thing to distract her from the best thing.

Mary Chose the Best

• Everything is oriented to Jesus - John 14:8-9
• Otherwise, knowledge is wasted - John 17:3
• 2 Corinthians 3:18

As Christians, our greatest challenge is often avoiding misplaced priorities - choosing good over the best.
