Love is Kind (1 Cor 13:1-13)

In this lesson, we return again to the Apostle Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians 13:1-13 as the Holy Spirit teaches us that . . . "Love is Patient". In this lesson, we see:

• Love is kind.
• Kindness is shown by behavior that blesses and benefits others.
• Showing kindness involves being:
  
  1. considerate and thoughtful.
  2. gracious and merciful.
  3. generous with our time, talents, and treasures.
• We are enabled to love others with kindness because of the loving-kindness of God in Christ.
• Therefore, we ought to (1) pray for the habitual fruit of kindness to abound in your life, and (2) practice not-so-random acts of kindness.
• So, by the power of the Spirit, let’s grow in demonstrating lovingkindness to others.
