Have a lot to go over today as we start to celebrate the Dad's in our lives. I want to go over some of what I will be cooking up this holiday weekend, yes weekend. He kind of deserves more than just one day.

Your child will learn what it means to be a father by watching the kind of father you are each day. If you often talk down to their other parent or talk badly about your family, your child will think that behavior is acceptable and expected. If you treat your partner with respect and kindness, your child will likely treat their future partner the same way, thanks to your character modeling.
A father figure can come from almost anywhere. A genuinely great father is willing to dedicate themselves to helping raise a child. Adoptive fathers, relatives, even older siblings can be role models, it means treating your children with protective care, being involved, behaving responsibly, being emotionally engaged, physically available, providing financial support when needed, and having influence in child raising decisions. It also means being loving, honest, loyal, open-minded, moral, and patient. (THAT’S ALL! It is a big responsibility.)
While the role of a father is important in a child's development, it is not required for a child to grow, develop and lead a fulfilling life. The most crucial element to raise a child is making them feel secure and supported as they grow.
"Children need to see their fathers or father figures operating with integrity in their daily lives." It is important for a child to see their fathers be hard workers BUT also empathetic. This sets a standard that will impact generations and positively influence the world around us.
I sincerely hope that this Father's Day you see in your children's faces all the hard work you have put in and done.

Schools out is out for summer and AMC Theatres is offering moviegoers discounted tickets — some as cheap as $3. Select titles will be $3 plus tax on Wednesdays and $5 plus tax on Saturdays at participating AMC locations across the U.S., the theater chain announced. It marks the return of AMC’s Summer Movie Camp featuring a “mix of recent, franchise, and classic titles,” according to a company news release.
After a four-year hiatus, the program kicked off May 27 and will run through late August, according to the theater’s website. This year’s lineup features a slate of family-friendly films, including “Minions: The Rise of Gru” (2022), “The Secret Life of Pets” (2016) and “Sonic The Hedgehog 2” (2022).
The movies will rotate weekly with check your local AMC's for times.
