“It was pandemonium and chaos” – Anderson on Strasbourg attacks

The Sinn Fein MEP Martina Anderson says there was a lot of mayhem and confusion during last night’s gun attacks in Strasbourg. 

The Northern Ireland MEP had been visiting the stalls around Strasbourg’s famous Christmas market when she and her colleagues heard shooting nearby.

At least two people have died and twelve more are injured following the attack by a gunman in Strasbourg’s old quarter where its Christmas market attracts thousands of visitors every year.
