Episode # 5054 – Preparing For Lent 2019

The gang is back and all here today, getting ready for Lent to begin tomorrow and talk of Paczki Day, with paczki’s, donuts, and pastries being the tasty start of the show.  Everyone talks of all kinds of wonderful treats, providing some history behind them too.  On a more serious subject, Father Anthony, Cristina, and Tony talk more on the importance of Lent, and how different generations deal or practice some of the beliefs and traditions of the church for Lent.  This brings to mind more on the faith people have and how things are different and times change.  With change in mind, Father Antony turns to talking about friendship and social media in terms of how people are different and times have changed, but reminds us that Life is a struggle, but God is there to help us and how we need a “inner chamber” or a place where we need to get away from things and nurture ourselves and our relationship with God, which relates again to Lent.
