In my case, the death of my mother was like broken glass. My life was shattered. I asked myself many questions and turned around to answer myself. I needed that drive and willpower to continue my life. I am bringing my mother’s life into this chapter to demonstrate how her drive and willpower informed my perspective on coaching and mentorship. I observed her going through the struggles of life. She never gave up on life. Her character is entrenched in me. She is me, and I am her! May her soul rest in peace!”, Sam Tsima (the author).
