How Did I Get Here, Episode 2: Jacob Strautmann

In Episode 2, I talk with Jacob Stautmann about his upbringing in rural West Virginia and his debut poetry collection, "The Land of the Dead is Open For Business." Jacob talks about growing up in rural America, but being called to a life far from his home. His poems are animated by the frustrations and the beauty of his home state, and the guilt that sometimes remains when you are from a place, but no longer of that place.
