General Hospital fans are preparing to bid farewell to a beloved character, Bobbie Spencer, played by the late Jacklyn Zeman. The ABC soap opera will honor Zeman, who passed away on May 9th, 2023, with a two-day tribute in the new year. 

The news of Bobbie Spencer's offscreen death will be revealed to Port Charles residents the week of January 8th, and her memorial will take place on January 10th and 11th. Zeman had a remarkable 46-year run on the show, playing the charming nurse and younger sister of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). The tribute episodes will feature characters close to Bobbie, including her namesake daughter Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), sister-in-law Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst)
, who admired Bobbie professionally. 

Other key characters like Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will also be involved in the tribute. The tribute will honor not just the character Bobbie Spencer, but also Jacklyn Zeman's legacy on General Hospital.
