Market Close 8 Apr 21: ASX reaches 13-month highs

The Aussie market is at 13-month highs with the ASX 200 lifting above 7,000 points for the first time since February last year. The benchmark index has now risen for 5 consecutive sessions, enjoying a 1% or 70pt lift for its best daily gain in 5 weeks.
