EuroParlRadio's Editor Karen Coleman talks to the Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness about the need to examine the MEP constituency boundaries for the next European elections because Ireland is set to gain 2 extra MEP seats post-Brexit. In the interview she also talks about the rejection by MEPs this week of the idea of having transnational electoral lists for the European elections. The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar had recommended the idea of transnational lists when he addressed the European Parliament last month.
