Episode 5 - The Squad (Turkish)

At last, we're talking about our favourite topic, Communism. Sadly Ben decided they were going to off to England and have "a nice time" there, which should be illegal, but alas isn't. So we drafted in our friend David from Praxiscast, who you should all check out, but after you get your dose of Turkish communist action. So come and join us to learn about the origins of the Turkish Communist Party (1920) and the trials (both literal and metaphorical) they went through as well as yet more assassination plots, exile and because, of course, party splits and very confusing party mergers.

 

Also come along to learn about the obscure pseudo-Marxist Kemalist magazine that Hearts of Iron IV brought back to prominence, the Kadro Movement (which Sinan lazily translated into The Squad, which he assures us is technically correct and not forced in order to make a joke about the Squad in America.)
