In this week's episode, we explore the complexities of Personality Disorders (PDs), mental health conditions marked by rigid patterns of thinking, emotions, and behaviour that can cause significant life challenges. We discuss the ten specific PDs categorized into three clusters: Cluster A, which involves odd behaviours; Cluster B, characterized by dramatic emotions; and C, driven by anxiety. We also touch on the causes, including genetics and trauma, and effective intervention with modalities such as Internal Family System (IFS) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
