Luke 19:41–42 (NLT)

41 But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep. 42 “How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.

Jesus was weeping for two groups of people as He entered Jerusalem:

1. Those who willfully rejected
2. Those who superficially accepted

• Both groups of people voided their opportunity for peace!

 

Two ways we frequently rob our lives of peace:

1. We allow our selfish pride to destroy our life!
2. We don’t realize that our missed expectations are the source of our frustration!

 

How do we find peace for our life?

• Allow Christ to be the ruler of our life!
