Outside The Chute sits down and chats with former Oklahoma State Cowgirls standout and current Woman’s Canadian National Team member, Lauren Regula.
Lauren would have an amazing 4 year career at Oklahoma State where she would be named to 3, All Big 12 First Team’s, was a 2003 1st Team All American and was also named 2003 Big 12 Player of the Year.
She would first see action with the Women’s National team in 2002 and would go on to play in the Olympic Games in 2004 IN Athens and 2008 in Beijing, before coming back in 2016 to win her first medal with Team Canada as they took home the bronze at the World Championships.
We’re gonna talk to Lauren about getting her start in the game at the age of 12, her time at OSU, those two Olympic games, as well as, the struggles she went through during her time away from the game and much more.
This is a fantastic candid interview from one of the true great people in this game and in life. Lauren was a treat to chat with and I’m sure you’re going to feel her positivity coming through to you on this episode.
