Women are asked to "cover their faces" during parts of Mormon Temple ceremonies. 

This is a quote from a woman whose sister had a panic attack and broke down sobbing the first time she went through the Temple. None of her friends or family were permitted to comfort her, as everyone is required to keep their heads down and plow through the ceremony.
