Fail Safe (1964)

George and Travis both went into Fail Safe blindly. They didn't know why Dan would make them watch a black and white movie about the Cold War right after Weird Science. They weren't even sure the science in Fail Safe would be weird at all. We know many of our listeners haven't watched Fail Safe before, but they darn well should. So we spend the first half of the episode in non-spoiler territory to convince you all to watch it. And we give you a chance to pause it before the spoilerfication begins.

 

Did George manage to let the tension of this classic Cold War thriller push him to the edge of his seat? What exactly is that raptor doing in Travis's throat? And did Dan just make it through an entire episode without mentioning slasher movies!?
