The Nashville School Shooting - Grief, Guilt & Gratitude

Our community was rocked by tragedy last week... a shooter opened fire at Covenant School in Nashville, killing 6 people, and leaving us feeling devastated and frustrated and incredibly sad. We are all left shaken, and wanting to take real action amidst the immobilizing divisiveness we see all around us. While our listeners and viewers know that the 3 of us have very different views on politics, religion, parenting, etc... there is only one SIDE for us here - the side of keeping our children safe. We are the MOMS, and we wanted to have an honest conversation about the terror we felt that day, the anxiety we're left with, how we're talking to our children about what happened, the hours we're spending figuring out what our routes to change look like, and how we can make some noise to incite that change. Our hearts are breaking for the families of William Kinney, Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, Katherine Koonce, Mike Hill and Cynthia Peak, and the many other families affected by these horrific events.
