The Old Testament describe Israel as an unfaithful bride. Ezekiel, a prophet, proclaimed that God would form a New Covenant. Jesus in the Gospel of John acts as the Divine Bridegroom calling his people back to the Father. That Divine Wedding is consumated at his crucfixion. Lean more this week on OVC.
