Market Close 3 Dec 18: Aussie shares jump on US-China trade optimism

Local shares have been boosted by a temporary trade truce between the US and China following talks at the G20 summit. The ASX 200 climbed 104 points or 1.8% with all sectors in positive territory, led by materials and energy.
