What is Google’s relationship to the CIA, the US dept of Defense and national security? With Nafeez Ahmed 

Dr. Nafeez Ahmed is a bestselling author, investigative journalist, filmmaker and noted international security scholar focusing upon fundamental changes in the public interest that will lead to holistic social transformation. He is a columnist for VICE’s Motherboard and the Middle East Eye as well as the founding executive director of the Institute for Policy Research and development, a transmedia think thank in the UK.  His most recent investigative project is Insurge Intelligence, which recently broke the story of the CIA’s role in the creation of Google. His articles and stories are published internationally through numerous news outlets as well as professional policy periodicals such as International Affairs, Foreign Policy in Focus and others.  He has received two Project Censored Awards.   Nafeez is the co-producer and writer of the critically acclaimed documentary The Crisis of Civilization, which was based on his book “A User’s Guide to the Crisis of Civilization”. In the past he has taught on international politics, empire and globalization at the University of Sussex and Brunel University.
