30: Joe Dante’s Looney Tunes Back In The Burbs

Joe Dante has been making genre pictures for over forty years. In honor of his birthday this week, Double Edge Double Bill hosts Thomas Mariani and Adam Thomas are taking a look at two films in his storied filmography. Our good feature his underrated 1989 comedy The Burbs, wherein Tom Hanks leads a gang of wacky neighbors to find out the mysteries of the new weirdos next door. Then, our bad feature is Dante's 2003 film Looney Tunes: Back In Action, which studio meddling turned from potentially great madcap adventure into an uneven mess.
