AM Report 18 Apr 18: Strong earning, China growth and The IMFs tick of approval.

The market traded stronger on positive earning results, and solid Chinese growth of 6.8% in the last quarter. The Dow Jones index was boosted by United Health beating the street on results and liftings it full year guidance. Goldman Sachs share price lagged the rest of the markets even with strong quarterly numbers as investors now focus on tightening credit markets and therefore more competition in the space. 

The DOW at the end of the session added 214 points.
