• Describe the role of an APP in Ophthalmology at a Cancer Institution.
• Describe basic eye anatomy and function of the retina.
• Discuss imaging used to evaluate retina health.
• Describe causes, symptoms, and treatment of common retinal pathologies such as: Retinal tears, Retinal detachments, Diabetic retinopathy/Radiation retinopathy, ERM, Macular holes, Macular degeneration, and posterior vitreous detachments.
• Discuss procedures performed by an APP in Ophthalmology.
