Why is it that when we know what we want and we commit to the necessary actions, that we don’t always get it?
Over time, we may even feel a distance between us and what we want. So, what creates this gap?
· We didn’t expect it to be that much work.
· We’re not enjoying the process.
· We don’t believe that we can really have it and others around us don’t either.
· The change is too drastic from where we are.
· We romanticize our old way of doing things.
These gaps reflect an inner sense of unworthiness. They show us that we’re not internally a match for what we want.
But this is not because we’re unworthy, but because we’re not ready.
We think we need to do something to get ready, but our thoughts are preventing us from getting there.
