Traci is a doula in Alabama who is teaching doulas how to keep your power during birth! This episode is for all the doulas in the house that get nervous when speaking up for clients! She and I  will dive into how to identify coercive care in your pregnancy and birth! Then Traci is stepping us through how to navigate the medical system and how to ensure you are getting consensual care that is supportive of your birth goals! She created the Keeping Your Power concept to help birthing family’s and others focus on the importance of the foundational belief system, communication skills, and solidifying a birthing families self-advocacy skill to receive family centered care.
