Episode 5 - International Women’s Day

In this episode, I recognize International Women’s Day, talking about its purpose and how effective and ineffective this recognition has been in intercollegiate sports. I include its history, where it started, how far it’s come, its effect on women’s sports, and how it’s progressing today. I give examples of how the media has failed to improve the perception of women and ask listeners to think about International Women's Day, through a gender-equitable lens.
